Payment Failed? Here’s How to Complete Your Order
We understand how frustrating it can be when a payment does not go through. In most cases, a declined payment is caused by a temporary bank security check, incorrect card information, a billing address mismatch, or restrictions on online or international transactions.
Please follow the steps below before trying again.
Quick Payment Checklist
Before submitting your payment again, please confirm that:
- The card number is entered correctly.
- The expiration date is correct.
- The CVV or security code is correct.
- The cardholder’s name matches the name registered with the bank.
- The billing address matches the address registered with the card issuer.
- Your card has sufficient available funds or credit.
- Online and international payments are enabled.
- You are not using a VPN, proxy, or unstable internet connection.
- You have completed any verification request sent by your bank.
Please avoid submitting the same payment repeatedly, as multiple failed attempts may cause your bank to temporarily block further transactions.
How to Fix a Failed Payment
1. Check Your Card Information
Carefully re-enter your payment information.
Please verify:
- Card number
- Cardholder name
- Expiration month and year
- CVV or security code
For most Visa and Mastercard cards, the CVV is the three-digit number printed on the back of the card.
For American Express cards, the security code is usually the four-digit number printed on the front.
We recommend entering the information manually instead of using browser autofill, as saved payment information may be outdated or incorrect.
2. Make Sure Your Billing Address Is Correct
Your billing address must match the address registered with your bank or card issuer.
This includes:
- Cardholder’s full name
- Street address
- Apartment or unit number, if applicable
- City
- State or province
- ZIP or postal code
- Country
If your billing address is different from your shipping address, do not select:
Same as shipping address
Instead, select:
Use a different billing address
Then enter the exact billing address associated with your card.
Even a small difference in the ZIP code, street number, or cardholder name may cause the bank to decline the transaction.
3. Check the CVV or Security Code
If your bank says that the card security code was entered incorrectly, please:
- Check the physical card again.
- Enter the CVV manually.
- Do not copy it from a saved browser profile.
- Make sure there are no extra spaces.
- Confirm that you are using the security code from the correct card.
If the code is correct but the payment continues to fail, contact your bank and ask whether the CVV verification request is being blocked or rejected.
For security reasons, never send your CVV to our customer support team.
4. Confirm the Transaction With Your Bank
Your bank may send you:
- A text message
- An email
- A mobile app notification
- A phone call
- A fraud-prevention alert
The message may ask whether you authorized the transaction.
If you made the purchase and recognize the amount, follow your bank’s instructions to confirm that the transaction is yours.
For example, your bank may ask you to reply:
YES
After confirming the transaction:
- Wait a few minutes.
- Return to our checkout.
- Enter your payment details again.
- Submit the payment only once.
Confirming the transaction does not automatically complete the order. You will usually need to return to the checkout page and try the payment again.
Only confirm a transaction when you personally authorized it.
5. Ask Your Bank to Allow the Payment
Some banks automatically block online, international, or card-not-present transactions.
This may happen even when:
- You have sufficient funds.
- Your card is active.
- Your card information is correct.
- You have used the card online before.
Contact the number printed on the back of your card and tell the bank:
I am trying to make an authorized online purchase. Please confirm whether the transaction was blocked and allow me to try it again.
You may also ask the bank to confirm that your card is enabled for:
- Online purchases
- International e-commerce purchases
- Card-not-present transactions
- Recurring or cross-border payments, where applicable
- 3-D Secure verification
Your bank makes the final decision to approve or decline a card transaction. Our customer support team cannot override a bank decline.
6. Complete 3-D Secure Verification
Some transactions require additional identity verification through Visa Secure, Mastercard Identity Check, American Express SafeKey, or another bank verification service.
You may be asked to:
- Enter a one-time verification code.
- Approve the payment in your banking app.
- Confirm your identity using Face ID or fingerprint verification.
- Answer a bank security question.
Please do not close the payment page while verification is in progress.
If the verification page does not appear:
- Disable pop-up blocking temporarily.
- Use Safari, Chrome, or another updated browser.
- Avoid opening checkout inside a social media app.
- Turn off your VPN or proxy.
- Make sure your phone can receive bank verification messages.
If you do not complete the verification, the payment may be declined.
7. Check Your Available Balance or Credit Limit
A payment may be declined if:
- The available balance is too low.
- The card has reached its daily spending limit.
- The card has reached its online purchase limit.
- The bank has temporarily reduced the available credit.
- Another pending transaction is using part of the available balance.
Please check your banking app or contact your card issuer before trying again.
8. Do Not Make Too Many Payment Attempts
Submitting multiple payments within a short period can trigger additional security checks.
Please do not:
- Submit the same card repeatedly.
- Try many different cards within a few minutes.
- Refresh the payment page while the transaction is processing.
- Press the payment button more than once.
- Use different names or addresses for repeated attempts.
If you have already tried several times, stop temporarily and contact your bank before making another attempt.
When you try again, create a fresh checkout session and submit the payment only once.
9. Try a Different Browser or Device
Technical issues may occasionally interrupt the payment process.
Please try the following:
- Close the current checkout page.
- Open our website directly in Safari or Chrome.
- Clear your browser cache and cookies if necessary.
- Turn off any VPN, proxy, ad blocker, or privacy extension temporarily.
- Use a stable Wi-Fi or mobile data connection.
- Add the products to your cart again.
- Complete a new checkout.
Avoid completing payment through an in-app browser inside Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Telegram, or another social media application.
Opening the website directly in your normal browser is usually more reliable.
10. Try Another Payment Method
If your card continues to be declined, you may use another available payment method at checkout.
PayPal
If PayPal is available, select PayPal during checkout.
Depending on your location and PayPal account, you may be able to pay using:
- PayPal balance
- A bank account linked to PayPal
- A debit card linked to PayPal
- A credit card linked to PayPal
PayPal may also perform its own security verification.
Make sure the name, address, and contact information in your PayPal account are current.
Another Card
You may also try another card that:
- Belongs to you.
- Has online payments enabled.
- Has sufficient available funds.
- Uses a billing address that you can verify.
- Supports international or cross-border purchases.
Please do not use a card belonging to another person unless the cardholder has personally authorized the purchase.
Why Does My Bank Show a Different Transaction Name?
Your bank statement or payment alert may display the name of one of our authorized payment-processing partners instead of the store name.
The displayed name may vary depending on:
- Your card issuer
- The payment method
- The acquiring bank
- The payment-processing route
- Your country or region
If you receive a payment alert and are unsure whether it relates to your order, compare:
- The transaction amount
- The transaction date and time
- The last four digits of the card
- The order you attempted to place
You may contact our support team with the amount and approximate payment time so we can help check whether it matches an order attempt.
Do not send us your full card number, CVV, PIN, password, or bank verification code.
What If the Payment Page Shows an Error?
You may see messages such as:
- Payment failed
- Card declined
- Transaction declined
- Security code incorrect
- Authentication failed
- Payment could not be processed
- Session expired
- Page not found
- 404 error
- Please return to the merchant
If this happens:
- Do not submit the payment repeatedly.
- Take a screenshot of the error message.
- Record the approximate date and time.
- Check whether an order confirmation email was received.
- Check your Shopify customer account, if applicable.
- Check your bank account for a completed or pending transaction.
- Contact our support team before trying again if you are unsure.
A payment is only considered successful when you receive an official order confirmation from us and the order shows as paid.
What If I See a Pending Charge?
A failed payment attempt may occasionally appear as pending or temporarily authorized in your bank account.
A pending authorization does not always mean that the payment was successfully completed.
Please check whether:
- You received an order confirmation email.
- An order number was issued.
- The order status shows as paid.
- The transaction is completed rather than pending.
The time required to release a pending authorization depends on your bank or card issuer.
If the order was not created but the charge remains pending, contact your bank for information about the authorization status.
You may also contact our support team and provide:
- Your name
- Your email address
- The attempted order amount
- The payment date and approximate time
- The last four digits of the card
Never provide the full card number or CVV.
What If I Was Charged but Did Not Receive an Order Confirmation?
First, check:
- Your email inbox
- Your spam or junk folder
- Your promotions folder
- The email address entered during checkout
- Your customer account order history
If you still cannot find the order, contact us before placing another order.
Please provide:
- The name used at checkout
- The checkout email address
- The amount charged
- The date and approximate time
- The last four digits of the card
- A screenshot showing the transaction amount and status
Please hide any sensitive banking information before sending a screenshot.
Our support team will check whether the payment was successfully connected to an order.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why was my card declined even though I have enough money?
Banks consider more than your available balance. A transaction may be declined because of:
- Incorrect CVV
- Incorrect billing address
- Online transaction restrictions
- International payment restrictions
- Unusual purchase activity
- A new device or IP address
- An incomplete bank verification
- A temporary bank security block
- Too many recent payment attempts
Contact your bank for the exact reason.
Can Blissentry approve my card manually?
No. Only your bank or card issuer can approve a declined card transaction.
We can help confirm whether an order was created and whether our payment system received a successful or unsuccessful result.
Should I keep trying until the payment succeeds?
No.
Repeated attempts may cause additional bank security restrictions. Check your payment details, confirm the transaction with your bank, and then try again only once.
Will I be charged for a failed payment?
A declined transaction normally does not create a completed order. However, your bank may temporarily display a pending authorization.
Please contact your bank if a pending transaction remains visible or if you are concerned about the status.
Why did my bank ask whether I authorized the payment?
Banks sometimes send fraud-prevention alerts for online purchases, international transactions, purchases from a new merchant, or transactions made from a new device.
If the purchase was made by you, confirm it using your bank’s official message or banking app, then return to checkout and try again.
Can I pay through PayPal instead?
If PayPal appears as an available option at checkout, you may select it and complete payment using your PayPal account or an eligible payment method linked to PayPal.
Availability may vary by country, account, device, and transaction.
Can I use a different billing and shipping address?
Yes.
Select the option to use a different billing address and enter the address registered with your bank.
The shipping address should be the location where you want the order delivered.
What should I do if my payment failed after bank verification?
Return to the checkout page and check whether an order confirmation was generated.
If no order was created, start a fresh checkout and try once more. If the issue continues, contact your bank and our support team.
